Project 3 Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier is widely considered to be one of the pillars of modern architecture and had a major influence on the development of architecture in the 20th century. Indeed, in his perpetual quest to establish mass housing, Le Corbusier planned to house craftsmen.

This model project highlights the interior redevelopment of the serial housing project for craftsmen. I wanted to highlight a space that is both aerial, simple and functional. On the ground floor there is a common living space with an open kitchen consisting living space with an open kitchen consisting of an L-shaped bank corner where you can eat and cook, a living room and a bathroom. On the 1st floor there is a sleeping area and an office space. The first level presents an empty space in the center surrounded by railings with a height of `1m20, creating a balance between intimacy and an impression of openness.
